Hugh Hefner Is Dead

Hugh Hefner just died. I'm not going to lie to you man.  I don't care who you are, if you're a straight dude (Even if you're a straight chick or a chick who like chicks) at one point in your life, you were at the very least curious to take a peek inside a Playboy magazine.  If you deny that accusation then you are a liar.

A typical 'Normal' teen or per-teenage boy at some point in his youth looked at some type of pornographic material and jacked off to it.  For most 'Normal' teenage boys, this was just a phase guys like me went through until we actually were able to obtain the 'Real' thing.  Unfortunately, some guys never grew out of it and a serious, destructive addiction arouse from it.

In a way, every straight (Especially single) guy wanted to be like Hef.  Rich and always surrounded by hot chicks.  But let's not kid ourselves here.  Hefner didn't get the chicks because he's so good looking and because he ha that magnetic personality.  He got the chicks because he was loaded with money and had the power to make  women famous.

Hefner was also one of the few dudes who got a free pass from the feminazi's.  You know those women's lib groups who are constantly bitching about how they are being sexually exploited all the time and treated unfairly.  Hefner wasn't seen as a pervert but as a person who was responsible for womens 'Sexual Liberation' (Whatever the fuck that means).  Double standard much? And of course, I'm generalizing here.

All I know is that, while, Playboy was a more classier porn magazine, those who certainly deny it being porn have never read Playboy or never watched the Playboy channel.  Sure, it's a softer type of porn but porn nonetheless.  Hefner was a hero to those hetereosexual men, lesbians and bisexual women but an evil devil for those who hate porn, have developed porn addiction or hate the sexual exploitation of women.

RIP Hugh. I bet that your really on fire now!

Star Trek Discovery: My Review

I have to admit that I only became somewhat of a 'Trekkie' only a few years back.  Out of sheer boredom one day, for the hell of it, I decided to watch each and every episode of the original series.  I have to admit, I was blown away.  The original series to me wasn't good because of the acting or the cheap special effects or because of the great chemistry the characters had on set.  It was because of the writing.  In my opinion, some of those stories were the best stories ever on TV.    When I was a teenager, I remember watching 'The Next Generation' Star Trek series (The series that came after the originals).  I remember rooming with someone at this event I went to and he put the show on.  It wasn't my choice to watch the show.  But I remember being hooked on it.  I think they were running a marathon on the show and we both stayed up late watching episode after episode finding it hard to turn the TV off.   Flash f...

Lethal Weapon TV Series: My Review

I have to admit I cringed at the idea, when it was first announced, that they were turning the legendary 'Lethal Weapon' movies into a TV series.  I always loved Lethal Weapon and thought that some things (Like Lethal Weapon) should be left alone.  But, I was at the same time curious upon watching the previews before the first episode even aired and decided to give it a try.   First of all let me say, that after watching episode 1 of the first season, both my and my girlfriend were hooked.  The pilot episode has to be good enough to want to continue watching the show.  My girlfriend, whom I just introduced 'Lethal Weapon (The Movies)' for the first time in her life about a month before the airing of the 1rst episode was equally impressed.    I was most impressed by the synergy between Clayne Crawford (Whom I admit never heard of before) and Daman Wayans (Who played Roger Murtaugh). I think that this is the best role I've ever seen Wayans pl...
