The Civilization of The United States of America is In Danger of Being Endangered

I don't know man, all I remember is that 20 years ago, things were never this bad.  People weren't as mean to each other.  If politicians hated each other, they were at least civil to each other and the news, if they lied to you, did so in such a way you believed them.  This can't be good for the American Civilization what's going on today.    We just had a tragic shooting in Las Vegas, immediately, people politicize it in to some anti gun bullshit.  Without even giving the victims and the shocked American public a chance to mourn.  What the fuck?   Look at pop culture. It's fucking awful.  95% of the music that is out there is for 12 year olds.  I mean, that's ok, it's always been that way, but the problem is, it's been this way since the mid 90's!  I mean whatever happened to record companies letting artists release material that is universally loved by people of all ages? Now all you hear is music for whiny brat punk s...

The Late Great Tom Petty

Monday was a very rough day for the dude.  First off if it wasn't that the shooting in Vegas was bad enough (I should NEVER have watched the video of that carnage), but to come home from work and get a text from my sister that Tom Petty passed way mde me feel like I was living in the 'Twilight Zone'.  It got worse when the initial reports of Tom Petty's passing proved to be untrue and then to add to that, he probably won't make it through the night.     Tom Petty was like a real American hero to me.  He provided the soundtrack to most of my youth.  I saw Petty live 4 times.  Just the other night, I was at a local internet radio station singing 'I Won't Back Down' to karaoke on the air.  I just learned guitar.  My first song was 'Free Falling'.  I owned every Petty album, seen all his music videos.  The news made me want to jump out of a fucking window (I'm exaggerating, but not by a whole lot!).  I tried listening...

Star Trek Discovery: My Review

I have to admit that I only became somewhat of a 'Trekkie' only a few years back.  Out of sheer boredom one day, for the hell of it, I decided to watch each and every episode of the original series.  I have to admit, I was blown away.  The original series to me wasn't good because of the acting or the cheap special effects or because of the great chemistry the characters had on set.  It was because of the writing.  In my opinion, some of those stories were the best stories ever on TV.    When I was a teenager, I remember watching 'The Next Generation' Star Trek series (The series that came after the originals).  I remember rooming with someone at this event I went to and he put the show on.  It wasn't my choice to watch the show.  But I remember being hooked on it.  I think they were running a marathon on the show and we both stayed up late watching episode after episode finding it hard to turn the TV off.   Flash f...

Lethal Weapon TV Series: My Review

I have to admit I cringed at the idea, when it was first announced, that they were turning the legendary 'Lethal Weapon' movies into a TV series.  I always loved Lethal Weapon and thought that some things (Like Lethal Weapon) should be left alone.  But, I was at the same time curious upon watching the previews before the first episode even aired and decided to give it a try.   First of all let me say, that after watching episode 1 of the first season, both my and my girlfriend were hooked.  The pilot episode has to be good enough to want to continue watching the show.  My girlfriend, whom I just introduced 'Lethal Weapon (The Movies)' for the first time in her life about a month before the airing of the 1rst episode was equally impressed.    I was most impressed by the synergy between Clayne Crawford (Whom I admit never heard of before) and Daman Wayans (Who played Roger Murtaugh). I think that this is the best role I've ever seen Wayans pl...

The Mainstream News Media Sucks

The mainstream news media does not reflect reality or the opinions of the general population.  I'll say it again...the mainstream news media does not reflect reality or the opinion of the general population.  Remember the 2016 Presidential Elections.  The Mainstream News media made a joking matter out of Donald Trumps decision to run for President.  No way (According to them) did he have a chance in hell of winning the Presidency.  Remember when Ann Coulter went on TV early on in the game and was asked who would be the next President of the United States and she said Donald Trump?  She was almost laughed out of the room.    Donald Trump took out 17 opponents in 2016 to secure the Republican nomination.  He beat 17 career politicians.  A task the mainstream news media said was going to be impossible.  When it came down between him and Hillary, they said he didn't stand a chance in beating her.  On election night she was favo...

Hugh Hefner Is Dead

Hugh Hefner just died. I'm not going to lie to you man.  I don't care who you are, if you're a straight dude (Even if you're a straight chick or a chick who like chicks) at one point in your life, you were at the very least curious to take a peek inside a Playboy magazine.  If you deny that accusation then you are a liar.  A typical 'Normal' teen or per-teenage boy at some point in his youth looked at some type of pornographic material and jacked off to it.  For most 'Normal' teenage boys, this was just a phase guys like me went through until we actually were able to obtain the 'Real' thing.  Unfortunately, some guys never grew out of it and a serious, destructive addiction arouse from it.    In a way, every straight (Especially single) guy wanted to be like Hef.  Rich and always surrounded by hot chicks.  But let's not kid ourselves here.  Hefner didn't get the chicks because he's so good looking and because he ha that magnet...
